When I go to e-mail I am always way at the bottom (at the e-mail that was received longest ago). 

Because I get a ton I have to scroll,scroll, scroll to get to the top/most recent messages.  Any way to:

a) go right to the top (most recent) when you go to e-mail

b) easily delete a bunch of messages without opening and deleting them 1 by 1?

To delete multiple emails highlight any one of them and hold down the shift key the scroll up or down to highlight multiple messages. Then click the menu key and select delete. Sorry I cannot explain why you see you oldest emails first. My newest ones are at the top. Hopefully someone else can help with that.

Hi,

In addition you can use the "T" key to go to the top and the "Space" key to go to the bottom.

If in an open message, you can use "P" for previous and "N" for next.

Thanks!  That worked to get rid of messages -- and it's not that they are listed last first, it's just that when I go to e-mail my cursor is always way at the bottom and I have to scroll up (a long way!) to get to the most recent message.  Any way to open e-mail and just be at the top?

My email does open at the top of the list unless I didn't it leave it that way. For example if I open my email and scroll down to the 50th message, the next time I open my email it will still be at the 50th email. Have you tried scrolling all the way up to the first message and seeing if it stays there until you scroll down?

in the messages lists,you can move :

• T : top of list (most recent)
• B : bottom of list (oldest mail)
• N : next date
• P : previous date
• SPC : one page down (towards older messages)
• Shift-SPC : one page up (towards newer messages)
• Alt-trackballUp : like Shift-SPC
• Alt-TrackballDown : like SPC
• J : next message with the same subject (same = some intelligence from your device)
• K : previous message with the same subject

from the message list, you can act :

• Del : delete the selected message (you can bypass the "are you sure" question in the options, for one message)
• L : reply to all
• F : forward to...
• R : reply to sender
• Shift-TrackballUp : select the current message and the ones that are on top of it.
• Shift-TrackballDown : the opposite

• Alt-TrackBallUp : moves horizontally only (I like that)

when in a message list, when you are selecting a date :

• if you click Enter, you compose a new email
• if you click on the Trackball, you can "Mark all prior as read" or "Delete all prior".
