I purchased eOffice (Ver 4.5.044) and, for the life of me, cannot seem to comprehend the Manual. All I want to do is load certain files (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) on the BB media card so that I have them for my reference. The Manual talks about Local/Internal/Network and other gibberish.
When I had my Palm Treo 650, I had DocsToGo folder on my HD. I would update the folder on my HD as needed (new or updated files); that folder would then be updated whenever I did a synch. (Due to AT&T's refusal to issue OS 4.5, I'm stuck with 4.2 and, consequently, the inability to purchase and install DocsToGo.)
I want to do the same thing with my BB Curve. I assume the media card serves as a "hard drive" for the Curve? Can a synch be done without actually connecting through Desktop Manager? Are there any instructions or tips for Dummies (such as me)?
Thanks in advance.

The Media Card is nothing more than like a removable storage for your BB, it is not the "hard drive", I would consider the device memory that.
You can create a folder on your Media Card called "documents" and move files to it, and when connected to the PC, you can the move documents in and out of that folder.
And, ATT doesn't give a hill of beans if you upgrade to OS 4.5. It is very simple, just ask in this thread if you want to do so.
