I have had my BB9300 for some time and never bothered with email on it. I now have a Playbook and have set up email on it without a problem. My 9300 refuses to connect however, even with the exact same information. It keeps telling me the email address or password are incorrect... I have done a complete battery/SIM out shutdown several times to no effect - what's going on?

you have to have a blackberry data plan on your phone in order to get email. Give them a call to confirm this first.
After that, from the device go to blackberry.com/integrate
and see if you can setup your email from there.
If this doesn't work, you can call the carrier or ask for assistance in setting up your email on

the blackberry/integrate process reaches only 'an error occurred during email account validation. Please check your info' etc.
Already spent 2 hours on the phone with Koodo trying to set this up this morning. That got the PB working and according to Koodo everything looks in order to them and is therefore a BB issue...
I'll try the link you suggest.

Did they confirm you have the correct blackberry data plan? Without that, it won't work on your phone.

blackberry.com/integrate will only work from the device.
Use https://koodomobile.blackberry.com/ from the computer. If you can't login, your carrier can reset or help setup the login, but without the correct blackberry data plan, it won't work.

Yep - BB for integrate/ computer for koodo thing...
Will call Koodo tomorrow and ask about the data plan - but it was very clear that we were dealing with a BB this morning...
