no worries,

 

yeah when i sign in it works fine for 2minutes then the msg appears 'general socket error'

Odd. Can you delete from your device, and reinstall?

 

Delete from Options > Advanced > Applications.

 

Reinstall Twitter for BlackBerry from AppWorld > MyWorld.

i reinstalled it at first it worked fine but when i signed out and logged back in the message reappeared again

Reboot the device and try the login again?

hi 

 

i have attempted that it does work fine but i have notice when i check my device and status information tab the free memory is rapidly decreasing i have to do a battery pull everyday to bring it back up to its normal level

 

is this a issue?

Rebooting daily is not uncommon.

This might have to do with the router settings. Can you connect to a different wifi network or with a different type of router. Bet it doesn't happen then. Some routers are set to block some ports.
