help with my blackberry!!!!!

ok so  a little bit of LIQ spills into my blackberry I swear it was not that much. This happened about a 3 weeks ago and I was told to let the phone dry for some days and its been 3 weeks and it still doesn't work.....The phone comes on but the qwerty doesn't work,  the phone would ring and I can't answer it or even read my text for that matter because the phone qwerty doesn't work.I still see that it's a little bit wet still in the screen and don't know if that will dry. Can somebody tell if i can fix this or is that it and I have to buy a new phone? thanks

Re: help with my blackberry!!!!!

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!

When it comes to moisture and BB's, the only thing that is certain is that the results will be unpredictable. If caught immediately and treated properly, sometimes the BB can be salvaged. Other times, it is a total loss. There's no way, without hands on, for anyone to truly give you the answer you seek. But, it does not sound like you followed the recommended guidelines in this matter:

Consequently, I'd guess that your chances are pretty low of salvaging it. However, again, it's impossible to predict without hands on. You'd have to take it to a qualified technician to be truly sure...and just doing so might already exceed the cost of a new BB.

Good luck!
