i just turned it off but its still blinking while capturing a video.

Just tried it out myself.....That is the default setting for the video camera.  Just to let you know that you are recording.

The only thing I'm 100% positive about is that I have to pay a lot of alimony every month!  But yes, I believe that this is the default setting.  Maybe there is a 3rd party program that can do this, but I have'nt heard of any.

thanks, sorry i cant help u with your alimony issue, maybe u should try to do a "memory cleaning" in your "security options" it may wipe away your alimony obligation :-)

I would presume it's the same reason you can't easily turn off the shutter sound when taking a still picture. Thanks to the pervs who were shooting upskirts, etc...
