how do I delete all entires in device address book and start over

I want to delete all entries in the Blackberry address book

I them want to re-sync with my current Outlook contatcs

How do I do that?

You need to do this via Desktop Manager. I will give you the steps using Desktop Manager v4.5:

1. Connect your BlackBerry to the computer using the USB cable and open Desktop Manager.

2. Click Backup and Restore

3. Click the Advanced button under the section called Advanced

4. On the following screen, on the right-hand side, highlight Address Book, then click the Clear button towards the bottom.

This will clear out the Address Book and leave it empty.
