My daughter gave me a bb curve that has no battery in it. How do I know which one it is in order to buy a new battery. There is nothing on the inside back to tell me like my old bb had?

Can you maybe just go to a store that sells phones and they will be able to tell you? You'd have to go there anyway to buy the battery so you're not making an extra trip.

When I take my battery out, on the physical phone there's kind of a barcode looking thing and it says the model. It says blackberry 9790 So look for a 4 digit number and that's the type you have. Does that help?

I have done that it there appears to be 2 different sizes, therefore I would assume without knowing exactly which one i have I might not get the right battery. Are you suggesting that if the battery is is a c-s2 that it will fit any curve?

lharlos, again, look at the white sticker under where the battery should be.
What's the model number there. A four-digit number.
