itookthisonmyphone changed connection to direct tcp

I can only use this app on BISB, but for some reason yesterday, it changed its connection method to direct tcp. When I tried to scroll down to change it back, it wouldn't let me. Aren't users supposed to be able to manually set their connection method?

Bumping because it fell off the first page with no answer and I'm still having the problem.
