lock key

Hello,

 

I'm a total dinosaur when it comes to phones and have just swapped my ancient 2004 samsung for a blackberry curve 9320. I managed to configure it last night but now I've left ot overnight, I can't even find the lock key. Please could someone tell me where it is? I know what my password is, I just can't seem to get to that screen.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

In what condition is your BB now? Locked or unlocked? I cannot tell from your post. If unlocked, there should be an icon on your homescreen (or perhaps a sub-folder from the homescreen) that will activate the password locking function, and lock your BB. If your BB is locked, pressing any key should pop up the prompt for you to enter the password and unlock your BB.

Perhaps I do not understand your situation correctly? If so, please elaborate and we'll see if we can guide you in the proper direction.

Hello there,

 

Sorry I haven't been back to you earlier. Thank you for your response. The BB was locked and I ended up phoning vodafone who said to press the button at the very top of the phone and then that gave me the option of unlocking. I need a massive paper manual on this thing.
