lost browser icon

I recently deleted an application (e-Office by Dynoplex) according to the manufacturer's instructions because it was causing problems. After removing the application, I also lost my browser icon and configurations. Any suggestions on how to recover? I also tried to re-install the OS 4.3 to see if that would work, but that only caused DM to not recognize the device.

Re: lost browser icon

The browser icon is pushed to the device by the carrier.

Hi,

If your browser worked before:

Go to OPTIONS -ADVANCED OPTIONS-HOUST ROUTING TABLES click to enter, press menu key -select REGISTER NOW.

You will get a verification Email, plus new service books.

Then:

Pull the battery while the device is ON, replace after a minute,

Let the device reboot 1-3 min,

see if the browser is back.

If you need more information, please ask!

If not, please resolve the post using the options by the kudos’ star.

Just check the post that had your answer!

Thanks

Re: lost browser icon

The browser and email settings come over the data network, be sure your device says 1x ev.  If the ev is not there, the icons will not appear.  Go to manage connections>take the check out of the mobile network box, wait a minute or so, put the check back in.  Hopefully the "ev" will populate.
