I set a picture as my home screen image. So far so good. Later when I went to copy it out of the pictures folder it was not there. I tried reset home screen image to see if it would move back and now it's nowhere as far as I can see. I did not explicitly delete it. Is it gone for good?

Sorry to hear you're experiencing an issue with your Wallpaper.

The photo that you used as wallpaper, did you take this photo or was it a preinstalled image?

If you go to your Media folder, into Pictures are you able to see this photo among the photos?

I took the photo and can no longer see it in any pictures folder. I believe I was in All Pictures when I set it as my home page image. I can see the other photos I took around the same time.

To clarify, when you are in your Photos, you can find all of the except this one photo you had used as wallpaper?

That's correct. Strictly speaking, I go to Media then Pictures then All Pictures to see the photos which I assume is what you mean by my Photos..
