media card not working

Hello,

my bb 8520 media card is not working,I had certain videos and songs, which got wiped off after scanning it.Now I wish to transfer the pictures and files to my PC , which is not possible.Kindly guide me regarding the same and what to do for media card and how...kindly let me know .

Remove the Media Card from your BlackBerry

Get a SDHC card adapter and read the card from your PC using the adapter.

 

Use a free PC software like Zero Assumption Recovery to recover any deleted files and move everything off to your PC.

Then format the card.

thanks a lot, but from where would I get the SDHC adapter...do I need to go to any BB service centre?
