Try at least removing the media card and re-inserting the media card.
Remove the and re-insert the battery as well

If the files on that card are that important, I would highly advise you to find a PC... ASAP.
See if the card is readable from the PC, using a SD card adapter.
if you discover files are deleted, LEAVE THE CARD ALONE, remove it from the PC for now.
Google search for the free PC app " Zero Assumption Recover" and download install to your PC, then run ZAR to search and recover any deleted file from that card.
