media player

hi all,

I recently upgraded to the 8900 from the pearl and i have a question about using the media player.  When using my music player, is there a shortcut to move to the next song?  On the pearl, when i pressed the #6 button it would advance or skip  to the next song but not on the 8900.  Can i do this with the 8900 or do i have to use the arrows  like this one:  ?

Thanks in advance for the help, this forum is awesome!!!

Re: media player

Right convinience key..top rocker.  Light press increases volume.  Holding it down longer changes the song.

Opposite rocker does the reverse.

Re: media player

Cheezz,

thanks for replying but I think I am a little confused or just dumb but it didn't work.  Here is what I did, can you tell me what I am doing wrong?

1) I held the volume up key for about 15 seconds and nothing other then increasing the volume to highest level and that's it

2) I held the right convenience key and volume up at the same time and the function set for convenience key opened

3) I touched the convenience key first then held down volume and nothing

by top rocker do you mean the volume up/down key or is it the mute button on top?

Thanks

K

Re: media player

If you want to play the next song in the same category, press the N key.

To play the previous song, press the P key.

The volume up & down keys are only for the previous & next songs for a playlist.

I hope that helped! (:

Re: media player

I meant to say the volume key, not the convinience key.  Also JB mentioned an easier way.
