messages that don't exist?

My phone is a BlackBerry curve 8520 and I get messages alerts from it and when I look at it, I see nothing.

It happens a lot of the time

My BlackBerry will make a sound and when I take a look at my phone, nothing is there.

Can someone please help me understand this.

That was cool !
I didn't even know that my BlackBerry could do that.

I found 6 messages and it was all from BlackBerry protect.
