password for pc synch

i can't synch my blackberry to my pc because i need a password, but i haven't set one and trying to contact blackberry to sort it out is impossible. any ideas?

On your BlackBerry, go to Options > Security and ensure no password is enabled there (shouldn't be based on what you've stated). If not, enable one, at least temporarily. Now when you plug your BlackBerry into your computer, use that password. Once you've backed up/sychronized your data, you can remove the password and see if it will work correctly then.
