Re: password

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

There is no backdoor or master password to unlock from the user-created device-lock password. Your only hope is to fail that 10th time and start over.

But...this concerns me:

Your wording there causes me to be less than certain that it's actually the device-lock password you are failing with. With the device-lock password, what will happen after the 10th failed attempt is that your BB will be wiped clean of all personal data, apps, etc...but it won't be "locked".

So, please clarify exactly which password you are having trouble with...if it's not the user-created device-lock password, then please clarify so that we can provide the proper guidance.

Good luck!
