I got the phone unlocked and it worked fine for 3 days then started to come up as no service searching for network I took it back to the shop and they said it needed a technician just trying to save a bit time see if anyone can help me here. The phone works in my house when connected to wifi but no other time I have a blackberry curve 8520 was currently on orange I had it unlocked for o2 it is not blocked or anything ???

On your Manage Connections screen, click on the Services Status.
What is the status of the BlackBerry Internet Service?

on the main screen. evrytime i try searching for network it comes up network has timed out works in the house with wifi though but if i go outside or turn the wifi off it doesnt work at all searching for network then no service then when connected says uma which i have never had before or comes up with network is in uma mode and cant connect???

UMA is a voice calling mode.

Could you answer my first question:  On your Manage Connections screen, click on the Services Status. What is the status of the BlackBerry Internet Service?

Can you try taking the SIM card out and placing it back in?

ok sorry the blackberry internet service just says wifi that is it

i have tried that took the sim the battery numerous times tried differnt sim cards the lot

when turn wifi off it says not connected
