pin unlock

I just got a brand new curve 9300. I was able to get a plan on it but it seems I can't use d bbm feature n d blackberry data plan. I contacted my service provider and I was told d problem was that the pin has been blocked and I should return the phone to the store I bought it from. This is not possible till march as I bought the phone from U.A.E and am in Nigeria. I won't b able to return the phone till 4 month time. Please can anyone tell me how to complain to RIM so that they can look into ma problem n find a way to unblock my pin. I have the pin and IMEI that came with the phone

If it has been blocked, it may mean the phone was reported as stolen.

Better contact where you bought it from.

RIM won't be able to help you in this case. You'll have to get a new phone by replacing this one.
