rSAP woes

My client uses an 8900 Curve in his VW Passat w/ the Premium BT kit. Works well (I could not get a 9000 Bold to properly pair with his VW).

BUT each time he leaves the car, the BB requires him to re-enter his PIN. It's driving him up the wall.

Is this irritating behaviour by design? Can it be switched off?

Tnx --Pieter

Re: rSAP woes

A colleague of my client claims he has exactly the same VW Passat but does not need to enter his PIN.

Re: rSAP woes

Even more annoying is that the Blackberry is totally unusable while rSAP is in effect. So it is impossible to look in his calendar, for example.

I am totally out of excuses except that rSAP is a new technology and these must be teething probs.

If someone of RIM is reading this, please tell me there is a fix underway.
