recovering contact list

When I deleted an ap from my Curve 8520 the OS went with it. I loaded the software but now my contact list is gone. Is there a way to recover it?

Re: recovering contact list

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!

If you have been synchronizing with a desktop PIM (e.g., Outlook), then your data is there. If you have done a backup, then you can do a restore:

  • KB23680 How to back up and restore BlackBerry smartphone data using BlackBerry Desktop Software 6.0

If you previously installed and used BB Protect, then you can restore from there. If you've done none of this, then there is nothing to be done and you have migrated from the latter to the former of this old saying:

  • There are two kinds of computing device users -- those who have lost data, and those who will

Backups, quite simply, are not optional.

Good luck!
