resetting blackberry ID password

after i had updated my bbm to the newer version, it is asking me for my password (which is the one i use to get on to the blackberry ap world) but the problem is i do not remember my password. how do i change this password?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

 

These KBs discuss how to do that:

  • KB28685 How to reset the BlackBerry ID password using the password recovery question
  • KB26361 How to change or reset a BlackBerry ID password

Note that you need access to the email account that is presently registered to your BBID from other than your BB...for security reasons, these password reset email messages are never delivered to the BB itself.
