Re: serious problem with wifi

Hi bluesky2012 and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums!

When you connect to Wi-Fi®, do you disable data services from within Manage Connections>Mobile Network Options?

Thanks.

Re: serious problem with wifi

If you disable data services, it will disable the Wi-Fi® connection as well.  I would suggest leaving this turned off until you connect to a Wi-Fi® network then you can enable it again.

Thanks

Re: serious problem with wifi

When you are connected to Wi-Fi, it will not use your mobile network services.  You can confirm a service is connected to Wi-Fi® by going to Manage Connections>Service Status.

Thanks.
