Hello, lately when i've been sending sms messages there hasn't been any response whatsoever to any. Upon checking first of all that I haven't bene rudely ignored, I found out that the text messages have been sending, but when my friends reply i don't receive any messages. please help if you can

Are you on Tmobile as your carrier?

This evening, Tmobile has been experiencing a quite widespread US outage for voice, SMS and data in many areas.

If that is your case, give it some time, it is in escalation and being worked on we speak.

I picked up an 8703e from eBAY and was able to activate it with Verizon. When I go to messages it gives me emails and any incoming SMS. Per the manual I click the scroll wheel and choose send SMS to send an SMS. There is no "send SMS" option only send email.
