so nearly set up my new Curve but ..so far away

Hello

Please help if you can. I have at last updated my blackberry (the last one is 5 years old hand was so battered) the reason for delay is that last time it took days to get the thing to work and since that pain my old phone was trouble free. I gave my last upgrade to a friend but this time I have tried to set it up.  It is virtually working bar a much longer delay than previous phone in sending emails and also every time send an email I get this error

This message is used to carry data between the BlackBerry handheld and an associated server. Please do not delete, move or respond to this message - it will be processed by the server.

Due to the delay not clear if every message is being sent or not.

Any help ideas or suggestions gratefully received

Thanks

Hi fatfingers,

Welcome to the Support Community!

Looks like you are receiving network@ept messages on your BlackBerry® Curve™ 9360 smartphone. This KB article should provide more information on how to prevent these messages. "Network@etp messages are received in the email application and on the BlackBerry smartphone" http://bbry.lv/LuRowI

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much. Step 2 did the job  Deleting on the phone was less obvious than I might have assumed as I thought there'd be a check box or something but my new phone is now working properly

many thanks
