i've had over 400 requests today from random like computer systems (well i think its that) and i have master reset my phone & deleted blackberry messenger and re installed it and am still getting these requests, i read on here about changing the firewall which i have also tried and am still getting them i need to know what i can do as its driving me up the wall and i dont want it to break my phone. pleaseeeee help me asap!

To receive a BBMessenger message, you must be a contact with that person -- so who are those messages coming from?

What are the messages?

What do you call a "master reset"... what did you do?

Are you sure these are coming into BlackBerry Messenger or are not simply SMS text messages?

i have only accepted one of them and i asked them who there where and how they got my pin and then they deleted me and they are randon names that are just symbols and foriegn names. i dont know who they are. and i wiped my phone all my contacts pictures everything apps the lot and it is on blackberry messenger not text messages.

its been happening for a week but today it has got too much im still recieving the requests now. just want to know what i can do

So, let me ask this question again, these are ALL coming from BlackBerry Messenger?

Are the messages all actually Contact invites?

... or again, I ask, WHO in your BBM contacts is sending them to you? (Because you can ONLY receive messages in BBM from contacts you've accepted.

yes they are coming from blackberry messenger

yes they are invites.

no one is sending them to me its like when someone adds your pin and you can accept, ignore or decline.

im not recieving messages from them as i am not accepting them i am ignoring them but i want to know how they can of got my pin as only got certain people on my contacts list and why it is happening.

Your PIN has probably been mistakenly posted on some BBM Pin share site and people are sending you requests.

Do a google search of your PIN and see if anything pops up.

I've just done that and nothing came up. Do you have any other suggestions? I've had a few since posting this and they are coming through in a different lanuage I'm just really confused about this whole thing
