stolen phone

i purchased a phone on the 10 of  last month ,someone stole it on the 8th of this month from my sons bag my service provide tells me they can only trace the phone if the person is using my sim card which they are not ,can i get RIM to disable the phone ,this person though is using the unit to communicate via the pin how can i get back my phone or shut it down!

Sorry for your loss !  BlackBerry cannot disable or Block that device ,All support starts with our Carrier or Service provider .It is your Carrier who can to Block or Blacklist that device if they are capable of ( Though all carrier are not able to do this )
