synchronization of calendar not working properly

When I try to sync my device calendar to my outlook calendar it does not overwrite the outlook calendar per the settings in Desktop 4.7.  I have it set to transfer all items from device to outlook but it does not move anything.  For some reason it will not recognize any appointments in the future from today's date (1/22/10).  Any idea why this would happen out of the blue? I did change my calendar in options for CICAL from facebook to my email address and that is when this started happening. thanks
