track pad

my return button started doing weird things so i took the battery out and when i put it back in and allowed it to reboot none of the buttons work, i cannot scroll or click on anything and none of the other buttons work either. I have tried different variations of this many times, i have taken the battery out for a little while and then put it back, i have taken the battery out and replaced it and then left the phone to reboot and i have taken the battery out and plugged the phone in and the when the no battery message comes up put the battery in and nothing will work. there has been no water damage or anything and i dont know what to do, i need my phone

I would suggest performing a backup of your BlackBerry® smartphone then reloading the software as shown in the article below:
