Re: trackball problems

Did you replace only the trackball or the trackball housing as well?

Re: trackball problems

Does everything on the keyboard work ok?

I wonder if the device has had moisture or liquid damage.

Re: trackball problems

The white liquid damage indicator does not have to be red for moisture damage. It will be red if the device was completely dunked and soaked, but not for slight moisture damage that can damage the keyboard and trackball and keep them from working.

So does the trackball not move in those directions, or the ball moves and the cursor on screen does not?

Re: trackball problems

Hi,

I saw it in one of the videos on youtube.

Your trackball might not be workin prply maybe coz it has accumulated lot of dust.

You can clean it by rubbing your trackball against a sheet of paper or maybe on a book page gently for a while and then use it.

Hope this solves your issue.

Thanks,

Rohit

Scroll up and read; he's cleaned it and even actually replaced the trackball with a new one, inlcuding the acutal trackball housing. I doubt dust accumulation would the problem.
