I need help!!!  I lost my blackberry curve and am using the exact same one my sister let me barrow.  How do I transfer the contacts and calendar items from my backup on my computer to the new blackberry?

Please use plain text.

Re: transfer contacts and calendar

Hi rebmorgenegg and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums!

Did you backup the original data using the Backup feature of the BlackBerry® Desktop Software or did you sychronize the data with an organizer such as Microsoft® Outlook®?

Thanks.

Re: transfer contacts and calendar

I did.  Actually I have figured it out and I was able to transfer everything onto the replacement phone.  Now my next question is where is the best place to store my calendar and contacts?  Should I use google calendar and the contacts within there?  What do you think is the best, easiest place to sync info.

Thank you for your response BTW!

Re: transfer contacts and calendar

To clarify, are you wondering where the best place to store your calendar and contacts in your BlackBerry® smartphone or your computer?
