trouble with download

I'm having problem with my bb 8520, whenever I try to download from internet, it say download failed and stop the process, I tried to reboot as many times as I can but nothing is working,, plz help!!!!

Downloading what, from where?

via your mobile network or connected to WiFi?

My apology if I was out line earlier on but like I said I'll b very happy if you can help me with my problem, coz really this causing headache I can't download music airtime or no airtime even my BIS is activated, I'm using 8520 I have called my service provider (MTN) several time with no success,,, Again if I was out of line plz my apology

Not a problem, it's just hard to go back and forth between these forums and the private messages to answer questions. You're good.

 

Did this work OK for you in the past to download, or never did?
Please try this:

Open your main Options > Settings

Click on General Settings and scroll toward the bottom , do you see the Cache operations to delete or clear the cache?

Please do that, then Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

 

Now, try downloading something again and let me know.

Try going to the URL www.zonkewap.com

Also check your service books to see if you have blackberry internet browsing service 2, if you do, then delete it , knOwn to slow downloads.

I really,really thank you for helping me, I done what u said and I'm happy to say I can download my music without any problem or download failed like before and lastly thank you again for your corporation, highly appreciated....

hi ther i am having the same problem also cleared cache ops rebooted the device reloaded software and applications contacted my service proveder everything and still nothing the browser used to work perfectly and for the last couple of months im struggling i dont want to use WI-FI as i do not always have access and i did not get a blackberry to use over wi-fi what else can be wrong i only have the internet browser service (not2) deleted that and still having battles

A month back I had a DOWNLOADING PROBLEM, I couldn't get music from internet, whenever I tried to do so...it kept on about downloading failed even with my BIS activated, so you adviced me to CLEARE THE CACHE and pull battery out with the phone on, which I did..from there everything was perfect until yesterday(tuesday) it started that problem again, however I tried the above method but still having the same problem“download failed” I only have 4 months with BB but already I'm thinking of switching to another cell phone brand name, with this phone its either is SLOW TO DOWNLOAD or it WON'T DOWNLOAD at all...I really like BB but I can't continue like this really....“PLEASE HELP”.
I was not thinking straight, my head was full of “BB stress” but I did send my apology afterwards...
