unable to log in on phone using correct id

I am able to log in on a computer to my account on Blackberry services, however when i put the same details on my phone it is saying they are incorrect.  I have changed it but it is still not letting me log in on my phone despite putting in the correct user name & password

Welcome to BlackBerry Support Forums

 

You have to enter Correct username and the password to access your account either on your PC or on your device.What error message you are getting on your device .If you have forgetten your BlackBerry ID password you can reset it here :

 

KB26361  : How to change or reset a BlackBerry ID password.

it says enter the username associated with this smart phone.  Yet we are entering the email address which is the username.

we are on the verify blackberry id page.  It is not letting us log in despite using the correct details!

Is it a used device or a new one ( brand new ) ?

its an old device had been working fine until 2 days ago

Please check this Knowledge Base :

 

KB28429 : "Please enter the username associated with this smartphone" appears when logging into BlackBerry App World with a BlackBerry ID using a BlackBerry 7 smartphone.

Hi Thank you but this was the email address used back in September when the phone was new.  It has not changed any other ideas please?

Sorry but it is only you know the original Username and the password that is associated with that device, It will not accept any wrong crediantials, You can reset your password using the KB providede above but you have to enter the correct username .

 

Or alse it will not allow you but have to follow the the KB provided for the error you are getting.
