This message comes up on my phone now. I am unable to remove it unless I remove the battery. It comes back up again when I start opening voicemail messages. Any suggestions?

Have now crashed my very reliable Blackberry 8700 with the error message highlighted in the subject line. Now on an old mobile phone and pretty fed up. This must be a regular problem but I haven't found a good thread to follow.Hope someone can guide me back to activity. Does lead me to asking some serious questions as what to do at the conclusion of my current contract. Thanks R

How many voice messages do you have stored?

That error sounds like the box is full.

Do a little spring cleaning and see if the problem persists.

I came to the same conclusion when I did a total wipe and reload and found all was ok until I tried the phone.  But getting rid of messages was not straightforward.  I had to delete the phone log in the back-up folder in then restore back-up.  Works fine now, thanks

Did you modify your backup by removing the phone log somehow and then restoring?

yes I removed the phone log in th eback-up doc and saved it, then restored again onto phone, worked a treat!

the blackberry desktop manageer installed on my laptop allows me to save back-ups of the phone ipd files.  I picked the phone log database in there and deleted, luckly the phone creats new logs.  Then simply restored wiped phone with updated back-up file.  Hope that makes sense!
