hi everyone,
i am having trouble with my son's curve 8900.
has anyone seen a problem with the keypad where you press various keypad buttons and hl is written instead of the correct character for the particular button (normally on the second row from the top)
as you can imagine this is a problem, especially when some of the characters are in question are in his device password.
i have googled the fault and it appears quite common but have found no common cure.
internet advice has mentioned water damage, but he assures me that this is out of the question.
i have tried installing updates to newest versions.
is the keypad faulty and can this be repaired?
any advice would be helpful, cheers.
