voice mail alert curve 8520

I am being driven mad by the phone ringing 5 or 6 times after a missed call - particularly infuriating if driving.  I can't find how to stop this, neither can people in the Vodafone shop.  Does anyone have a suggestion?

Hello,

 

I'm a tad confused...your subject line talks about VM alert yet the body of your post says "ringing". Can you clarify? I can interpret, from the body of the post, that your BB continues to "ring" (as in incoming call ringing) 5 or 6 times after the call has rolled to Voice Mail.
