wifi connection

I am having trouble connecting my Blackberry Curve 8520 to my home router. I keep getting the message 'this wireless router supports wifi protected set up. To connect using a pin click next'. Having pressed next the message then reads 'provisioning wifi profiles. Enter this pin into your wireless router (and gives a number that changes each time)'. How do I enter a number into a router??  I didn't think this was possible .. and I have no way of entering numbers into my router. Any help would be great!!

This is where it's counter-intuitive. Rather than clicking "next", click whatever else is available (e.g., ignore, continue, etc.). That will bypass the PIN method and allow you to finish entering your WiFi configuration.

Good luck!

Re: wifi connection

On my 9700 pressing Cancel does not bypass the blockade.

HOWEVER - moving the focus to the Cancel and then pressing the Menu button does.

RIM should have kicked the bucket already.
