Hey there,

Go to Options

Security Options

General

Menu Key (left of trackball)

Wipe Handheld

Follow any prompts you may see....like enter "blackberry to continue"

Hope this helps.....

Re: wiping my curve clean of all information, returning it

You will have to format the media card separately.  The 8330 is not a world phone and should not have a sim card.  It has a micro SD card.  To format the micro SD card:

Go to Options

Media Card (click it)

Menu Key (left of trackball)

Format Card

Or keep the card if you wish to use in another device.

Let us know if it works.

dfhello,

I don't understand what you are saying. Apart from japanese mobile phones, all mobile phones have a SIM card.

Xandrex,

All mobile phones dont have SIM cards, it depends on the carrier.  I have been with both Sprint and Verizon and neither of them use SIM cards in their phones.  Here in the US TMobile and Cingular support SIM card use from my knowledge.

Re: wiping my curve clean of all information, returning it

On Verizon's network only certain phones have sim cards.  Many of them have sd or media cards.  Verizon only has 3 or 4 models that accept sim cards for calling internationally.
