BB desktop manager is not friendly and it doesn't work at all

Hi,

 

for log times I tried to connect my BB Bold 9780 to my PC (at home as well as at work) and it's a nightmare

after all the trouble, I just quit, se render, give up

next step is forget BB, as soon as possible

I’m delighted with your answer and care about time wasting.

BB desktop manager seems unfriendly and I just can’t connect my 9780 to a PC. And there isn’t an answer for a basic trouble…

I can't attach a print screen in this formprint screen of unwork BB desktop manager. May be the URL works. The BB DM applcation stays and stays trying to connect... but it never connects. If there is an helping information, it will be appreciated. Thank you. 

ps - why the URL to insert the print screen picture doesn't work also?

a few questions: 

Are you running the latest version of the BlackBerry desktop manager on your home and work computers?

If not, download it from http://us.blackberry.com/software/desktop.html

 

What operating systems are you using on these computers?

Are you using the same USB cable at home and work to connect to these computers?

Are you able to charge the device using a wall charger or how do you charge it?

Yes, I've downloeded BM DM from BB site, as well the informatic department guys at work!

The cable is the same at home and at work, an USB cable BB compatible!!

I charge my BB 9780 with severall chargers, including the BB wall charger, an universal charger and the said cable...

No problem whith the chargers, so far.

The problem still the connection to the PC, via BB Desktop Manager...

 

Waiting and thnaking your help, which is not friendly available at BB site...

That is interesting. Hey can you try another USB cable? I know you said it works for charging, but I wonder if something else is going on when trying to connect to the computer. Your IT department should have some extras.

some specific cable or just another one? well, I'll try anothere cable, despite no helping or friendly information is provided about that new theme :smileywink:

just get a brand new cable by BB and it works...
