Does anyone have a solution?  I have installed, uninstalled through blackberry site, verizon site, etc.  All with no luck.  I even tried to download the old version 5 software and it just automatically gave me ver. 7.

Re: Can no longer open Desktop software

Hello mmiraglia12,

The following article will provide you with more information regarding the "stopped working" error message you receive when attempting to open the BlackBerry® Desktop Software:

"BlackBerry Desktop Software has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working." appears when launching BlackBerry Desktop Softwarehttp://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB32240

We hope this helps.

Thank you.
