Desktop Manager won't see 8120!!!

I installed my desktop software twice and it always says disconnected when i plug my 8120 in. I want to sync my contacts with my outlook. Can someone help?

Download the most recent version of Blackberry Desktop Software.

Is there memory card installed in your blackberry ?

 

If so - when your device is connected to your desktop (device keyboard has to be unlocked) - then additional removable drive has to appear in "My computer".

 

If there is no removable drive - check your usb-cable. Perhaps there is a problem with your usb-cable.

storage card is removed, keyboard unlocked, usb port and cable are known good and work on other devices...

Try to reinstall your BB Desktop Manager, if that does not help - try to use one of previous version.

 

If your device is not broken and cable is good - there is something wrong in BB Desktop Manager.
