Go to Device -> Forget Device.  

 

Quit DM and disconnect your BB.

 

Reconnect your BB via USB, DM will open automatically. 

 

Backup your data.

 

Re-sync and select merge data.  

 

Everything works fine...

Spoke a bit too soon. Addition of events works both ways. Deletions don't sync. WTF?

You know the first time you re-sync, after forgetting device or moving DM to the trash, and it asks if you want to merge or replace data on device? And it suggests you replace data on device, but we all merge data so we don't lose anything?  Has anyone tried choosing replace data on device? If so, what happened?

 

This is taking up WAY too much time/focus for us users! C'mon RIM....

1.  Still getting sync error messages on the calendar after replacing the library cache and re-syncing, but it seems to sync EXCEPT that events DELETED on either BB or Mac don't sync into the other. Anyone know how to have syncs both add and delete events? 

 

2. How would I uninstall DM 1.03 and reinstall DM 1.02, which didn't have this problem? Where is the uninstall utility in the BB dmg file?

I reinstalled, via time machine, 1.0.2 and it does not work. I'm still not able to sync. I did find that for me, I have a HUGE memory leak, I have it on another post. It was using up my 4GB of RAM and all of my available harddrive space, as Virtual Memory, before shutting down. Try the sync again with the Activity Monitor open and please let me know if this is just me.

I synced with Activity Monitor open, and nothing unusual occurred (on activity monitor).
