Error Connecting Decive With Desktop Software

I'm trying to connect my BlackBerry 8110 Pearl to the desktop but again ang again it becomes disconnected (aprox. 10 seconds) and reconnected automatically. First I thought its the cable problem, i replaced it with newone, but the problem presists and a can't connect it to pc. Please help me on this...

have you installed the Desktop Software on your PC?

Yes I've installed it. As I named my problem "Error Connecting Device With Desktop Software", its clear.

can you try with another USB port on your PC?
