I'm getting this error every time I try to sync:
COLTransContact SaveCurItem: Unable to save item
The phone connects to the desktop software, does sync data analysis but, when trying to do the actual syncing, stops with this error.
I've tried everything: upgraded the phone, upgraded BlackBerry desktop Software, restarted the phone (removing the battery). Nothing worked.
PC OS is Windows 7 sp1 64 bit with Office 2013
BlackBerry Desktop version is 18.104.22.168
Phone OS is 6.0 2949
I need help urgently

I don't find any KBs directly on point, so I suggest this thread:
It starts with a process for cleanly starting over, and there is some discussion, and there is also a post (15) with links to older Desktop Software versions, if those are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work...but it has worked for many to resolve issues they are having.
