I am running Windows 7 64bit but cannot download the Blackberry desktop, everytime I try the download starts then I get this message - "This installation package could not be opened. Varify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package."
Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to download it?

This may be an issue with the MSI install file, try completing the following steps:
Download and install the latest version of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager from your carrier's website and attempt the installation process.

Hello, thanks for your reply.
I have tried what you suggested but I still get the same error message, I dont understand why it will not load onto my computer, I have downloaded numerous programmes in the past, but never Blackberry ones.
Do you have any other suggestions?

When you are downloading the BlackBerry Desktop Softwarre are you running the file of saving it to the computer?

Please try renaming the BlackBerry Desktop software installation file to a .zip extension from an .exe extension,
Extract the contents of the renamed installation file and Execute the BlackBerryDesktopSoftware.msi file.
