Sync stalls with Error Zero Message

Hi 

Curve 8530  trying to sync with MacBook Pro - Calendars seems to sync, but contacts keeps stopping and giving Error ZERO - retry sync.  progress bar moves toward completion with each click on OK , but never gets to "finishing" part of sync.
