Updating from 7.0 to 7.1 Backup error

I downloaded the 7.1 software via wifi successfully then went to install it and my phone currently reads "Overall Backup Progress: 11%" and "Social Feeds: 0%". I can't connect my phone to my PC either now. It just says 'Connecting' but never does. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you able to pause the update? Can you connect to BlackBerry® Desktop Software and reset the Social Feeds database?


If not, you may need to install the update as shown in KB10144.
