Windows Explorer recognizes media card but does not recognize device itself

I recently reinstalled DM after getting a new 9900. DM seems to work OK but when using Windows Explorer, I see only the media card and its contents and do not see the device itself and files/pictures/videos stored on it. A friend computer can see both. What to do?

Re: Windows Explorer recognizes media card but does not recognize device itself

Hi,

Did you open Windows device manager and check the USB PID information as mentioned?

Do you have Blackberry desktop software installed on your PC with the correct version of the Blackberry device OS loaded?

Thanks,
