Wireless Sync

I am unable to sync my contacts as I am getting a message indicating that I must turn off wireless sync. Instructions are provided for turning it off of my device but it does not work. The instructions are to go to contacts, task or calendar application, press menu, press options then uncheck the wireless sync box. No such box shows up for me to uncheck,  Please help.

Are your contacts linked with an email service on the phone? (gmail / hotmail etc)  I'm trying to see how you have it setup.

you ned to go into email setup

 

select your email account and click edit

 

if you scroll down you will see a sync options list

 

contacts will be in there. untick enter password click save
